Step 1
Buy an Iron Pick
The Quarrymaster sells the Iron Pick for 1,200 gold. Keep it in your bag: you don't equip it, the game uses the best pick you carry.
Professions
Two trades run alongside the fighting: Mining and Fishing. Both level from 1 to 50 on their own, both pay in gold and in crafting materials, and both are fully server-rolled. Every number on this page comes straight from the game's data.
Job
Crack ore veins for gold and for the materials behind armour sets, runes and better picks. Every vein is a small gamble: the first strikes are safe, the deeper ones pay more but the rock can collapse.
Step 1
The Quarrymaster sells the Iron Pick for 1,200 gold. Keep it in your bag: you don't equip it, the game uses the best pick you carry.
Step 2
Veins are coloured rocks scattered through the world. Lower tiers sit in Vaelmore; the richest ones are out in the PvP World (level 35+). See them on the Atlas.
Step 3
Walk up to a vein and tap Mine. Each strike gives 1–2 ore. The first two strikes are safe: that ore goes straight into your pocket.
Step 4
From strike 3 on, new ore is at risk until you bank it. A collapse wipes the at-risk ore (your pocketed ore is always safe). Finish all 8 strikes and you keep everything.
| Strike | New ore goes to | Collapse chance | Rare ore chance | Pick wear |
|---|
If you always bank after the same strike, this is what one vein gives you on average. The best row is highlighted: past strike 5 the collapse odds eat more than the extra strikes add.
| Bank after | Ore per vein | Rare per vein | Collapse risk | Strikes used | Repair cost | Net gold if sold |
|---|
Net gold = ore and rare ore sold to the Quarrymaster, minus the repair cost of the strikes used. Ore you keep for crafting is worth far more than its shop price.
| Pick | Tier | Mining lv | Durability | Strikes per repair | Repair | Rare bonus | How to get it | Sells for |
|---|
Every strike wears the pick by 2 points, less on better picks. Repair at the Quarrymaster: you pay per missing point, so better picks cost about the same per strike but last much longer between visits. A worn-out pick (0 durability) can't mine until it's repaired.
| Ore | Tier | Mining lv | XP each | Found in | Sells for | Rare twin | Rare sells for |
|---|
Sell prices are what the Quarrymaster pays per piece. Players often pay more on the Market, because crafters need ore in bulk.
| Armour set | Recipes | Mining lv | Ore for the whole set | Crafting fee |

| Rune tier | Mining lv | Ore per rune | Crafting fee |

Job
Cast from any shore, time the hook and win the reel. Fishing pays a steady income, feeds the alchemy recipes at the Fishmonger, and hides five relics for the patient.
Step 1
The Fishmonger sells a starter rod for 500 gold and Worms for 20 gold each. The rod stays in your bag; drag the bait into its slot.
Step 2
Stand at the edge of any lake, pool, sewer or lava shore and tap Fish. Each cast uses one bait, whether you land the fish or not.
Step 3
A bite comes after 2–8 seconds. Tap within the hook window (2–4 seconds) or the fish swims off.
Step 4
For 3 seconds, hold and release to keep the fish inside the green band. The rarer the fish, the narrower the band. Score 55 or more to land it.
| Catch | Green band | XP when landed |
|---|
| Rod | Fishing lv | Bites come | Rare bonus | Lava-proof | How to get it | Sells for |
|---|
Rods never wear out and are never equipped: the game picks the best rod in your bag that works for the water you're at. Only the two starter tiers split into a normal and a lava-proof version; from level 20 every rod is lava-proof.
| Bait | Fishing lv | Less junk | Rare bonus | Price each |
|---|
The game always uses the best bait you have equipped that your level allows. Better bait turns junk into real fish and pushes common catches toward rare ones.
Odds per cast with the best bait and the best shop rod for that level. The last three columns are the gold you'd make per 100 casts if you sold every catch to the Fishmonger, after paying for the bait, at three different catch rates.
| Lv | Bait · rod | Junk | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Trophy | Signature | Relic | Gold / 100 casts land all · 85% · 70% |
|---|
Signature fish and relics are rolled first and depend on the water; everything else is the same at every shore. Fish kept for recipes are worth more than these shop prices.
| Fish | Rarity | Weight | XP | Sells for | Where |
|---|
| Water | Signature fish | Relic | Note |

Bonus
2% of landed catches also bring up a chest. Its contents:

No. Rods never lose durability. The only running cost of fishing is bait, one per cast.
Yes. The bait is used the moment you cast, so a missed hook or a lost reel still spends it. Practising the reel is the cheapest way to earn more.
Only the ore from strikes 3 onward that you hadn't banked yet. Ore from the first two strikes, and anything you banked, is always yours.
At the Quarrymaster, the same NPC who sells picks. You pay for each missing durability point, so a quick top-up is cheap.
Both work. The shop prices on this page are a guaranteed floor. Crafters need ore and fish in bulk for armour sets, runes and potions, so the Market often pays more, and crafting the gear yourself is worth the most.
No. Each job has its own level from 1 to 50 and its own experience. Leveling a job unlocks better ore, picks, bait and rods, and raises your extra-ore and rare-catch chances.
